Meet The Team

I was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1979, and I’ve always considered myself an athlete at heart. I played three sports in high school and went on to play four years of collegiate soccer. In 2002, I graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Studies.

Over the years, I’ve explored a variety of career paths. I spent time as a flight instructor, managed a retail sports store for several years, and even obtained my CDL to drive trucks for a period. Each experience shaped who I am today.

In 2018, I was given the opportunity to open a ForeverLawn dealership right here in Savannah. While I was initially hesitant, it’s a decision I’ve never regretted. ForeverLawn Low Country has truly become my professional home.

As part of my commitment to industry excellence, I am proud to be a Certified Member of the Synthetic Turf Council (STC). This certification reflects my dedication to the highest standards of quality, professionalism, and ethical business practices in the synthetic turf industry.

There’s something deeply rewarding about watching a yard transform—from something average or difficult to maintain into a beautiful, green, low-maintenance space. That satisfaction never fades. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity God has given me to be part of ForeverLawn and to help enhance homes and community spaces throughout our region.

With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for efficiency, Alex leads our operations with a steady hand and a strategic mindset. As an operations manager, she oversees the day-to-day functions that keep everything running smoothly—from streamlining processes to ensuring top-tier service delivery across all departments.

Bringing 4 years of experience in operations, leadership, and team management,  she plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s direction and culture. Her approach is hands-on and solutions-focused, always finding new ways to support the team and improve the way we work.

Outside of work, she is a proud parent and dedicated to her family. Whether it's early morning routines, school drop-offs, or weekend adventures, family life is a constant source of motivation and balance.

Alex believes in building strong relationships, both at work and at home—and that a good team is just like a good family: built on trust, communication, and a shared purpose.

As an accounts manager at ForeverLawn Low Country, I’ve spent the past four and a half years building deep expertise in the synthetic turf industry. Through hands-on experience with a wide variety of projects, I’ve developed a strong understanding of both the technical and design aspects of our work—knowledge I use every day to help guide customers toward the best solutions for their needs.

One of the best parts of my job is seeing the excitement on our customers' faces when a project is completed—especially when it comes to designing custom golf greens. Knowing how much joy and functionality it will bring to their space makes the work incredibly fulfilling.

When I’m not on the job, you’ll likely find me outdoors—golfing, fishing, hunting, or spending quality time with my family.

I truly enjoy connecting with our clients and take pride in helping bring their vision to life. I look forward to meeting each and every future customer and helping create beautiful, lasting transformations.

​Hey there! My name is Ryan Ellenwood. I am a Savannah native who has worked with and known the Grimes family since High School. Along with my BBA in Management and concentration in Logistics, I have 6+ years of experience in the Lawn, Garden, and Agricultural industries. I am on the sales team with FL Low Country, helping manage both residential and commercial client sales from prospecting to installation. I love ForeverLawn. You will not find a better synthetic turf company because of our commitment to you, the client. We will offer you the best solutions, best expertise, best installations, and best customer service - only research our company, read our reviews, and talk to our clients!

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, worshipping at my church, lifting weights, reading, and more reading. We look forward to partnering with you to bring your dreams for outdoor space to life!

With a degree in Animal, Dairy, and Poultry Sciences from Louisiana State University, Eric brings a strong passion for agriculture and sustainability to his role as an Account Manager. His studies have taken him around the world, including time abroad in both Spain and South Africa, where he gained a broader perspective on global agricultural practices and environmental stewardship.

He enjoys building relationships with clients and helping bring their projects to life. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his dog, riding horses, and being outdoors—whether it’s at the pool, on the beach, or out in nature. His commitment to sustainable living and love for the outdoors align perfectly with the values of ForeverLawn Low Country.

Originally from Durango, Colorado, I bring a diverse background and a deep passion for creative strategy to my role as Marketing Director at ForeverLawn Low Country. 

Before joining ForeverLawn, I played D1 Baseball at both Davidson College and NC State University, where I earned my undergrad and advanced degree. After my playing career, I co-founded a media production company in Scottsdale, Arizona, where we specialized in high-end content creation for luxury clients.

At ForeverLawn Low Country, I lead our marketing efforts with a focus on brand development, digital engagement, and community outreach. My goal is to clearly communicate the value of what we do—transforming everyday spaces into beautiful, functional, low-maintenance environments—and to help drive growth through authentic and impactful messaging.

Outside of work, you'll most likely find me traveling or exploring the outdoors. I’m especially passionate about hiking and finding new places to enjoy nature.
