Week 1 - Help, My School Needs a Better Playground!

We are back! In September, we busted the myths which create obstacles in the way of prospective turf clients. In October, we looked at solving typical residential problems with our turf. This month, our theme is Synthetic Turf Solutions for Common Commercial Problems. In today’s article, we will look at how our turf can provide a better playground for commercial clients.

First, why might a client want or need a synthetic turf playground? The following pictures from one of our clients explains why:

As you can see, the rubber mulch wasn’t working. There’s too much undulation and an unattractive aesthetic, not to mention the problems it causes for the teachers and children (debris in shoes, staining clothes, children potentially throwing and eating the material, etc.).

Enter our patented PlaygroundGrass.

First, we excavated 7” of topsoil.

Second, we installed our safety foam for fall height, as well as our plastic lumber for the perimeter.

Third, we installed our turf.

For this client, we transformed an unattractive, clunky, and dirty playground into a beautiful, clean, and safe play space.
